Vietnam adopting AANZFTA 2nd Protocol from 22nd August

Vietnam will officially adopt the AANZFTA Second Protocol from 22nd August 2025. This involves a change to the documentation requirements, with the use of the different Second Protocol certificate format that is already used for other countries (e.g. Malaysia, Singapore). AANZFTA Second Protocol changes

Effective 21st April a new AANZFTA Certificate format will apply for shipments to Brunei, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. This new format contains changes to overleaf notes to reflect changes to the agreement and a small change to wording on the ‘third party invoice’ option on the front page.
