Overview:
Location of Goods Codes designate the approved premise for the physical storage location of goods when the left the care of the declarant.
For organisations who book and ship their own containers, these will often be the ports*. For air freight shippers, and organisations who use a freight forwarder, these will be the freight forwarder holding location.
*Sulphur Point in Tauranga is a special case that requires a CCA code.
This is now a requirement for NZ Customs and approved non-port codes can be found on the Location of Goods code list.
For Port Codes that are not Sulphur Point, this can be ignored as Prodoc will enter the Discharge Port Code.
