Update 2 – Prodoc version 3.33.1 has been released with a fix for this issue. We will contact customers who have reported errors with further details.

Update – this issue is still present for some actions on the latest Prodoc release. We are investigating at present and will provide a further update.

Prodoc users who are running Windows 11 24H2 update may encounter issues related to dates in the month of September. Microsoft made a change that alters the short code for September to ‘Sept’ instead of the normal ‘Sep’ and this is incompatible with SQL data format conversions.

Prodoc Cloud customers are not affected.

If you see errors like ‘Conversion failed when converting character string to smalldatetime‘ when running Prodoc that were not happening prior to today, this is likely the reason.

Prodoc 3.27.1 included a fix for this, which resolved most instances. Note that if running a version prior to 3.25, an the update will require a full reinstall of Prodoc to move to the newer 64-bit version. Details of this process are available in our Knowledge Base.
